About The Fleet

Our fleet is one of the newest, cleanest and highly equipped in the industry. Vehicles range from executive MPV’s, through to 16 seat minibuses and onto full size coaches. Smaller tabled coaches for recess are also available when needed.

Our current fleet has an average age of just 2 years and no vehicle is ever more than 5 years old. All our vehicles are subject to rigorous 10 week safety and maintenance inspections and are fully serviced every 6 months. We have a fully independent technical support unit and also a mobile valet and dressing unit to ensure that image, comfort and reliability are of top priority.

“Silver on the outside, but green all the way through” Environmental issues are very important to us at Howard Ray, and our fleet is specified to meet Euro 5 emissions standard. Several vehicles have already been replaced by the latest Euro 6 levels ready for the Ultra Low Emission zone in 2020. All vehicles meet the current LEZ compliant. As well as looking after the environment the use of modern eco friendly vehicles will keep fuel use and therefore bills to a minimum

VW Transporter MPV

Looking for something larger than a unit car but smaller than an minibus, then look no further than our VW transporters. With 9 seats and an extra large luggage space these high specification vehicles offer great versatility. Be it a Recce, an airport transfer or transport for an artists you can rest assured these vehicles offer the highest levels of comfort and flexibility.

As standard all our VW transporters are never more than three years old, are fully air-conditioned, have full privacy glass and high back seats with three point seat belts. WIFI is available on request.

9str Ford Shuttle Bus

The ‘work-horses’ of our fleet are our Ford Transit Shuttle buses. With 9 easily accessible seats, twin sliding doors and a large luggage area these vehicles are the perfect film unit minibus. Immaculately presented and rigorously maintained you can be sure of a reliable, comfortable and safe journey for the whole crew.

As standard all our shuttle buses are never more than five years old, are air-conditioned, have full privacy glass and three point seat belts. These vehicles are not subject to EU driver laws offering the flexibility needed with the standard long filming week.

Ford 16str Minibus

A high specification vehicle without the high price tag. Although still a standard vehicle our Euro 6 16str minibuses are very highly specified lending themselves perfectly to production Recce’s or on the occasion you simply have a larger group to move. These vehicles are fitted with Tachographs and therefore subject to EU driver hour rules.

As standard all our 16str minibuses are no more than 3 years old, are fully air-conditioned, have full privacy glass on all passenger widows, fully reclining seats with three point seat belts. WIFI is available on request.

Man 61str Coach

Supplied by our sister company, the 61str coaches are great for moving large groups of people. Whether it be crew or supporting artists you can rest assured they will love the comfort levels these coaches have to offer. The high specification of these vehicles also makes them perfect for those larger technical recce’s.

As standard all 61str coaches are no more than three years old, are fully air conditioned, have fully reclining half leather seats and on board toilet facilities. Several of the vehicles also have tea and coffee making facilities.
